On the corner of Jackson Ave. and Washington Ave. in the square, sits Endless Summer, the ultimate snow cone and gaming location in Iola.

Endless Summer opened this past June and features arcade games, shooting, racing and many more different kinds of fun activities for residents of all ages. There is ping pong, skee ball, a massive pool table and even more.  A party room is upstairs and has a ping pong and a foosball table for birthday parties and other events.

Every game is unlimited to play with the purchase of a wristband upon entry!

Endless Summer was the brainchild of employee, Bo Hall, who has operated the arcade with his father since it was opened.

“It is always fun and such a happy environment to work in,” said Hall. “Iola needed something fun to do for when it is too hot outside and Endless Summer is perfect for everyone.”

There are hotdogs, nachos, 79 different flavors of sno cones and a large arrangement of drinks for all ages, all for a student friendly price.

An individual game room pass costs $10 to purchase a wristband for an hour of unlimited games. There are also family passes and party room rental fees.

“All (Allen) students have to do is show their student ID and they’ll have an extra half an hour of game time,” said owner, John Hall.

Endless Summer targets all age groups whether it is elementary kids coming to play after school, high school and college students coming to hang out and even adults.

Hours are 3:00p.m.-6:00p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, 3:00p.m.-10:00p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, 3:00p.m.-12:00p.m. on Friday and 12:00p.m.-11:00p.m. on Saturday.

“Starting Sep 10th from 7:00p.m.-9p.m. Endless Summer is free to all Allen students,” said Ryan Bilderback. “We are not sure if it will be every Monday but we will do at least two a month.”
