The Flame, Allen Community College’s online student newspaper, has announced editorships for the fall 2018 semester and is working to inform and entertain students, faculty, staff and the general public about news of the college.

Lindsey Temaat will be returning for the second year as managing editor to assist staff adviser Bruce Symes in producing the Flame. Other staff returning for their second year include Nikayla Kussatz, photo editor; RJay McCoy, sports editor; and Bailey Sprague, social media manager. New additions to the team include Judd Wiltse, features editor, Persephone Burleson, news editor; Molly Henderson, health editor; and Zeth DePriest, activities editor.

The staff is excited to continue growing their readership and social media presence this year. The Flame has added new features, including an activities calendar and page for recent sports scores in hopes that students and the community alike will visit the site consistently throughout the school year.
