WU Scholarship Named for Allen Alum

Phi Theta Kappa Alumni of Washburn University have announced plans for an endowed scholarship which will be named after Ebony White, a PTKAW founding member.

White graduated from Washburn University in May 2017 with degrees in management and international business. While at Washburn University she was very active on campus by volunteering at Washburn’s International House, working as a tutor and teaching assistant in computer labs, competing on a winning team for the School of Business’ Plan Competition, and spending a summer abroad in Belgium in Washburn’s Study Abroad Program. She was named to Washburn’s Who’s Who Among American Universities and Colleges.

White graduated from Allen Community College in 2013, having attended Burlingame Campus where she was active in PTK and a Presidential Scholar.
