Laughing is something we all need to do, especially right after midterms. Allen Community College will help with that when it hosts a comedy night Monday, Oct. 23, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Allen Theatre.

The event will be hosted by former Allen student Blake Green and have acts such as Ty Law, an American actor, stand-up comedian, singer-songwriter, musician, and online radio talk show host.

Another comedian that going to be at the show is Jake Redpath, an upcoming comedian, Redpath is very active in Kansas City and performs his own shows there. From producing independent shows, to performing regularly at the Improv and Stanford and Son’s comedy clubs, Redpath is slowly building a reputation that reflects on his hard work as much as his humor.

The final act will be Johnny Lane. Music will be by Keise Gotbars.
