Students enjoyed a variety of classic board games at the Allen Library's first Board Game Night on Sept. 20.

Allen Community College students flocked to the Allen Library last Thursday, Sept. 20 for the first Board Game Night of the year. Freshman and sophomores alike enjoyed nostalgic games like Jenga and Uno. Last year, many students attended library events including a “Ready Player One” Game Night competition in conjunction with the premier of the movie at Sterling Six Cinemas in Iola, Kan.

In addition to having fun at events, students can check out a vast selection of board games and movies for their personal use, as well as rent bikes from the county wide bike share program, and of course, take advantage of the wide variety of online and print resources available through Allen’s library.
