Sandy Uwase is a sophomore at Allen Community College. She graduated from Olathe West High School, before attending Allen. She came to Allen to play soccer but later decided to just be a student.
Sandy is majoring in nursing at Allen. Her educational goal is to Pittsburg State University the fall of 2023 and to be accepted into the college’s nursing program to earn a BSN.
Sandy joined The Allen Flame as part of the scholarship program and is consdering her work on The Flame to be a unique experience, which will help her become a better writer. She is excited to work with the other Flame staff members this year.
