Marquese Garrett, Social Media Editor
Born in North Carolina and coming to Allen Community College from Topeka High School, Marquees Garrett is currently a sophomore studying communication. He moved to Topeka from North Carolina shortly before sixth grade and he still goes to the Tar Heel State every summer.
He is the oldests of three kids with a brother and a sister. In his spare time, he likes to go to basketball games, lift weights, run, and hang out with friends. Some of his favorite music to listen to include hip-hop, throwback and R&B.
This is his first year working for the Allen Flame. Taking his previous experiences from working for the video production crew at Topeka High, Garrett aspires to create more awareness for the online newspaper so more students can read stories about what is happening around the campus.
