The first meeting of Allen Community College’s honor society, Phi Theta Kappa, and pizza social held Wednesday, Sept. 12, was attended by a diverse group of approximately 25 students who gathered in the fish pond of the Iola Campus that evening. The meeting was led by Imani Lemon, the current PTK president, and advisers Tosca Harris and Chandi Leis. Students enjoyed pizza while the leaders of other activities spoke about how to get involved. Lemon briefed the group on the requirements of PTK and some of his personal goals for the organization before concluding.
