  • Carolynn Krohn works at the Pregnancy Resource Center in downtown Iola. which provides assistance for expecting mothers.

The Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) located at 1 S. Jefferson in Iola offers practical and emotional support for those who may be involved in a pregnancy.

The center offers free pregnancy testing, prenatal support, adoption information, family support services, and maternity items. In the PRC a full boutique is available with everything from baby clothes to carriers to car seats. All boutique items are donated.

Also, the PRC offers classes and instruction. A few of the classes are Abstinence, STD/Disease Dangers, and the Truth About Abortion. In exchange for time spent in classes, Mommy & Daddy Bucks are given to buy anything from baby clothes, maternity clothes, diapers, formula, baby furniture or other baby items.

Krohn is at the PRC on the east side of the Iola square  Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. until noon and Tuesdays from 1 to5 p.m.
