The Allen County Creative Writing Club is having an open form contest. Starting now, through April 25, the Creative Writing Club encourages students to send in poems, short stories, non-fiction, essay compositions, diaries, journals, screenwriting, or even original graphic novels. Prizes will be awarded, and winners also will be published in the Allen Community College literary online magazine.
The poems should be thirty lines or fewer, while essays and all other entries except screenwriting and graphic novels are to be less than five pages. Screenwriting and graphic novels can be up to 20 pages.
All entries should be typed and included with the literary work should be a title page, along with the students’ name, address, phone number, e-mail, and a brief biography. Be sure that the contact information is sent in with all entries to [email protected].
This is a chance for students to show off their skills and have the opportunity to be published in the Inferno. The top 5 entries among all categories also will receive Allen Bookstore giftcards.
